Research Alert: CFRA Keeps Buy Opinion On Shares Of Enbridge Inc.
May 26, 2025 9:13 AM

12:05 AM EDT, 05/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

Our 12-month target price of CAD69, up CAD1, reflects a 12.1x multiple of enterprise value to projected 2026 EBITDA, in line with ENB's historical forward average. Our DCF model considers intrinsic value on a longer-term basis, and estimates a value of CAD78, but we think near-term concerns dominate the narrative. We cut our 2025 EPS estimate by CAD0.16 to CAD2.95 and 2026's by CAD0.07 to CAD3.23. We see 2025 as a relatively high-capex year, which likely means temporarily-lower free cash flows, but we think it also sets the stage for accelerated EBITDA growth and cash flow growth beginning in 2026. Line 5 remains a bit of a political lightning rod in Michigan, and our best guess is that the replacement work continues without legal intervention forcing a shutdown. We do think the combination of growth capex and dividends strains cash flows in 2025, but expect that burden to ease in 2026. Shares yield 6.0%, adding to total return potential.
