07:20 AM EDT, 08/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We maintain our 12-month target at $85, about 11.5x our 2025 EPS estimate of $7.41 (down from $7.69; 2026 lowered to $8.69 from $8.85), in line with the company's long-term average forward P/E. Our revised estimates do not yet reflect the recent Viterra merger, which closed on July 2. BG plans to provide formal guidance on Viterra closer to Q3 earnings, at which point we'll update our model. That said, based on the recent 8-K filing, there could be some meaningful dilution to GAAP EPS once Viterra is integrated. BG shares are likely to remain volatile given the cyclical nature of the business and ongoing uncertainty around the earnings impact of the Viterra merger. However, we believe underlying earnings are set to recover by year-end, particularly as clarity emerges around biofuel policy in the coming months. We think improved demand for soybean oil and meal, coupled with a strong crop outlook in the U.S. and South America, should support crush margins.
