Research Alert: CFRA Lifts Opinion On Shares Of Ge Vernova Inc. From Hold To Buy
Oct 22, 2025 10:19 PM

01:00 AM EDT, 10/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

Following Q3 earnings, we lift our view on shares from Hold to Buy. Despite our valuation concerns previously, GEV is now trading at a more rational level, moderating from a forward (NTM) P/E of ~70x during the summer to around 50x now. When applying our 2027 EPS outlook of $18.66 (below consensus), shares are trading near 30x, which we view as attractive given GEV's ramping earnings trajectory. Our $700 target (up by $10) values shares at 37.5x this 2027 estimate. We cut our 2025 EPS outlook to $7.19 (from $8.06) but raise 2026 to $12.55 (from $12.11). We do note risks that may delay growth, including backlog execution strugglespossibly from supply chain and/or quality control issuesand lower-than-anticipated pricing. However, our base assumption is that GEV meets or exceeds its 2026-2027 target. Q3 results were soundly positive, both on the demand (orders up 55% Y/Y organically) and margin fronts (adjusted organic EBITDA up 600 bps), indicating that AI infrastructure spending remains robust.
