01:45 PM EDT, 07/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We raise our 12-month target price by $2 to $23, based on 13.5x our 2026 EPS estimate and in line with the company's three-year average forward P/E multiple. We lower our 2025 and 2026 EPS estimates by $0.15 to $1.60 and $0.20 to $1.70, respectively. MAT posted normalized Q2 EPS of $0.19 vs. $0.19 in Q2 2024, $0.03 above consensus estimates on revenues of $1.02B vs. $1.08B in Q2 2024 and $34M below estimates. By segment in Q2, Dolls gross billing in constant currency declined 19% Y/Y; Infant, Toddler, and Preschool declined 25%; Vehicles increased 10%; and Action Figures increased 16%. Q2 adjusted gross margin expanded 200 bps Y/Y to 51.2% due to its Optimizing for Profitable Growth initiative, lower inventory management costs, and favorable mix. MAT lowered its guidance across the board and now expects EPS between $1.54 and $1.66, down from $1.66 to $1.72. We continue to believe shares provide investors with value at these levels and believe most of the tariff impact is priced in.
