12:50 PM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We raise our 12-month target by $12 to $119, 19.2x our next-12-month EPS estimate, below the U.S. peer average of 24.8x but a premium to international peers at 15.0x. We increase our 2025 EPS view by $0.27 to $5.68 and raise 2026 by $0.44 to $6.31. Despite continued headwinds, our increases reflect an easing rate environment that should provide relief to pressured residential construction. Immigration enforcement is causing labor issues in the heavily immigrant dependent construction industry, with BLS showing M/M employment declines in the last three months, including a sharp 7,000 drop in August. Job openings posted a massive swing from -15.1% Y/Y in June to +33.6% in July, the largest increase since November 2023. Coupled with labor issues, significant construction materials price increases are straining project budgets, potentially leading to delays or cancellations. Should construction fundamentals continue this concerning path, we expect CRH to move closer to lower international competitor valuations.
