11:10 AM EDT, 04/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We maintain our 12-month target of $10. We lower our 2026 EPS estimate to -$12.95 from -$12.70 and keep 2027 at -$11.45. LCID posted Q1 vehicle deliveries of 3,093 units (-0.5% Y/Y), well short of our 4,500 estimate. LCID's Q4 production totaled 5,500 units (+149%), just short of our 5,600 forecast. Despite the weaker-than-expected volumes, LCID reiterated full-year production guidance of 25K-27K units. Once again, the disparity between LCID's quarterly production and sales was significant, implying a material inventory build. We think this could be explained by the production ramp-up of the Gravity SUV. While we expect LCID's significant earnings losses and troubling cash burn rates to continue in the near term, we think its recently-enhanced liquidity runway and the rollout of the Gravity SUV could equate to stronger volume growth relative to other EV companies and improve sentiment surrounding the story. Moreover, LCID's current short interest (~32% of the float) presents meme stock-related risk.
