Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Hold Opinion On Shares Of Rambus Inc.
Sep 23, 2025 10:29 AM

01:15 PM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We increase our 12-month target price to $116 from $75, on raised P/E of 35x our 2027 EPS estimate, which we initiate at $3.33. The multiple is well above peers and the historical average to reflect potential EPS upside amid improving memory prospects. We keep our 2025 EPS view at $2.48 and 2026's at $2.90. We expect greater AI adoption and an ongoing shift to more complex reasoning models to increase demand for accelerators with dedicated high bandwidth memory (HBM), as next-generation high-end AI servers offer substantially more memory than traditional servers. We believe that RMBS is on pace to benefit from resilient server memory demand through 2027, due to share gains in data centers as content expansion for memory grows at a rapid clip. Across all businesses, we believe that RMBS is focused on advanced system memory bandwidth and capacity through its memory, connectivity, and power management solutions. We continue to think RMBS's stable licensing business should provide good free cash flow visibility.
