01:00 PM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We raise our 12-month target price by $8 to $98, applying an EV/EBITDA multiple of 26.9x to our 2026 estimate, a premium to its one-year historical average multiple of 20.9x given the planned transition to a pure-play tower company. We continue to believe a larger EV/EBITDA multiple is warranted going forward, but note CCI remains overvalued relative to peers, namely AMT, which trades at a 21.3x 2026 EV/EBITDA. We lift our 2025 FFO estimate by $0.09 to $3.89 and 2026's by $0.05 to $4.69. CCI's search for a new CEO continues and the board indicated it is not waiting on the completion of the Fiber segment sale to select a candidate. We see near-term uncertainty during this transition while the search continues and believe the DOJ's second request related to the Fiber sale may delay closing past 1H 2026. We note that consensus estimates for 2026 AFFO of $2.3B-$2.4B likely already incorporate the majority of operational benefits from the Fiber sale, with little future cost savings past 1H 2027, in our view.
