12:05 PM EDT, 05/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We maintain our 12-month target of $1. We increase our adjusted EPS estimates to -$1.00 from -$1.05 for 2025 and to -$0.85 from -$0.90 for 2026. LCID posted Q1 adjusted EPS of -$0.20 vs. -$0.30, ahead of the -$0.23 consensus. Revenue rose 36% to $235.0M ($11.2M below consensus), driven by a 58% increase in total vehicle sales to 3,109 units. LCID's 2025 vehicle production guidance of approximately 20K units was unchanged, but we think the company will be challenged to hit the guidance given its weak Q1 production total (2,212 units) and poor history of hitting guidance. The company continues to face massive headwinds and there was no announcement regarding the naming of a new CEO following the resignation of longtime CEO Peter Rawlinson in February. We reiterate our Sell opinion, as we find LCID's negative free cash flow unsustainable (-$590M in Q1), also highlighting dilution from the significant increase in its outstanding share count (+32% Y/Y in Q1) from the recent conversion of convertible notes.
