Research Alert: CFRA Raises Opinion On Shares Of Autodesk Inc. To Buy From Hold
Aug 29, 2025 9:33 AM

12:30 PM EDT, 08/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our recommendation on shares of ADSK to Buy from Hold, increasing our target price to $357 from $320 on a forward P/E of 32x our FY 27 (Jan.) EPS projection of $11.16, above its three-year average. We raise our FY 26 EPS estimate to $9.93 from $9.65, and our FY 27 EPS forecast to $11.16 from $11.04. Q2 results showed acceleration led by AECO strength and its new transaction model. RPO rose by 24% to $7.3B during the quarter, adding to a solid backlog for the firm. ADSK raised its full-year outlook from improved billings linearity, and we see a number of factors that should support a stronger growth trajectory ahead (GTM optimization, AI features driving product advantage, transactional model benefits, and AEC strength). Margins are also trending positively (operating margin of 39%; +140 bps Y/Y), and management's guidance of 41% by FY 29 demonstrates its commitment to profitability expansion and efficient scaling of the business.
