Research Alert: CFRA Keeps Hold Opinion On Adss Of Nio Inc.
Sep 4, 2025 12:57 AM

03:45 AM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

Our target price of USD7.00 (lifted from USD3.80) implies a 2026 P/S of 1.0x, which represents a discount to its five-year P/S average of 4.5x, justified in our view by our projected slower revenue growth (vs. five-year CAGR through 2024), execution risks, and the company's fragile financial position. We project NIO's revenue to rise 35%/31% in 2025/2026, assuming (i) a 60%/38% increase in the number of car deliveries, supported by new models and facelifts, as well as penetration into new markets, and (ii) 50%/35% growth in other revenue, underpinned by an expanding vehicle base. While H1 2025 net losses widened, we expect them to narrow in H2 2025 and 2026, underpinned by a pick-up in vehicle deliveries, an improved product mix (e.g., higher contributions from the refreshed models), enhanced operating leverage, and better cost efficiencies (partly aided by the cell business unit initiative). We maintain our loss per ADS estimates of CNY8.33/CNY6.87 for 2025/2026.
