Research Alert: CFRA Raises Opinion To Buy From Hold On Shares Of Bank Of America Corporation
Oct 15, 2025 8:15 AM

10:50 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We believe BAC has strong momentum going into Q4 2025 and 2026. We raise our 12-month target by $6 to $58, applying a normalized risk premium and a forward P/E of 12.9x, in line with the five-year historic operating earnings multiple at 12.8x. We increase our 2025 EPS view by $0.25 to $3.90 and 2026 by $0.25 to $4.50 with revenue projections of $110B and $116B, respectively. BAC reported a strong earnings beat of $1.06 vs. the $0.94 consensus and compared to $0.81 a year ago. The bank's revenue grew 11.0% Y/Y to $28.1B, attributed to outsized growth in both net interest income (NII) and noninterest income. BAC is guiding for NII of $15.6B-$15.7B in Q4 2025 (+8% Y/Y), and we expect operating leverage to continue in Q4 2025 with disciplined cost controls and revenue growth. Digital engagement expanded as nearly 80% of Consumer customers were digitally active, 86% were digitally active in Global Wealth Investment Management, and more adoption for mobile banking and payment solutions is anticipated.
