Indian shares snapped its two straight session of falls to end higher as China took measures to ramp up its economy by cutting bank's reserve requirement ratios.

The benchmark BSE Sensex closed the session 0.51 percent higher at 35,695.10, while the broader NSE Nifty ended up 0.52 percent at 10,727.35.
For the week, the BSE Sensex fell 1.1 percent, while the NSE Nifty declined 1.24 percent.
Bharti Infratel Ltd was the biggest percentage gainer on Friday, extending its winning streak into a fourth session. Eicher Motors Ltd erased earlier gains to close lower for a third session in a row.

Gainers
Bharti Infratel: Shares surged 8.4 percent this week and ending Friday's traded higher by 5.67 percent to settle at Rs 287.
Yes Bank: Shares gained 3.20 percent to settle at Rs 190, surging 4.5 percent this week.
Sun Pharma: The pharma stock quoted at Rs 433.40, down by 0.62 percent, but shares gained 2 percent this week.
Bharti Airtel: The telco shares increased value by 4.5 percent, while also ending Friday's trade at Rs 322, up by 2.71 percent.
Asian Paints: Stocks rose 1.2 percent this week, but dipped 0.38 percent to quote at Rs 1,383 at close.
Losers
Eicher Motors: The auto stock saw a massive 13 percent fall this week as December sales came below expectations. At close, it quoted at Rs 20,149 per share, recovering marginally from its intraday low of Rs 20,001.
M&M: Mahindra shares also dipped 10 percent this week as December sales number disappointed. It surged 1.17 percent to close at Rs 726.70.
Hindalco: Shares declined 5.7 percent this week but ended today's trade, gaining over a percent to settle at Rs 726.70.
Tata Steel: The metal share from the Tata Group recovered from its 52-week low of Rs 479.55 in intra-day trade to end at Rs 492.70, up by 2.38 percent. This week the stock dipped 5 percent amid slowdown concerns, particularly in China.
Tech Mahindra: The IT firm declined 4.6 percent this week, but quoted at Rs 681.40, down by 1.42 percent at close amid firming rupee.
In the midcap space, gainers included Prestige Estates, Union Bank, InfoEdge, Bank of India and IGL, which surged between 5 percent and 8 percent.
Page Industries, PC Jeweller, Mphasis, L&T Finance, Mindree slipped between 5.7 percent and 9.3 percent.
