CNBC-TV18's top stocks to watch out for on November 10

SUMMARY

The Indian market may open higher on Tuesday following a rally in global stocks on positive developments over a COVID-19 vaccine. At 7:00 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 185.50 points or 1.48 percent higher at 12,683.50, indicating a positive start for the Sensex and Nifty50.

TCS | The company will acquire Postbank Systems from Deutsche Bank.

Reliance Industries | The company said that its subsidiary Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd received the subscription amount of Rs 9,555 crore from Public Investment Fund (PIF) and allotted 140,051,300 equity shares to PIF. (Disclosure: Network18, the parent company of CNBCTV18.com, is controlled by Independent Media Trust, of which Reliance Industries is the sole beneficiary.)

Oil India | The company’s net profit in Q2FY21 declined to Rs 382 crore from Rs 661.5 crore while revenue fell 32.5 percent to Rs 2,175 crore from Rs 3,221.2 crore, YoY.

Prestige Estates Projects | The company has executed a term sheet with Blackstone Group to sell commercial, retail and hospitality properties worth Rs 9,160 crore.

JK Cement | The company’s net profit in Q2FY21 jumped to Rs 221.1 crore from Rs 81.9 crore and revenue increased 24 percent to Rs 1,634.4 crore from Rs 1,317.6 crore, YoY.

PTC India | The company reported a lower consolidated profit at Rs 193.6 crore in Q2FY21 against Rs 201.3 crore, revenue rose to Rs 6,004.6 crore from Rs 5,225.4 crore YoY.

Punjab & Sind Bank | The bank will mull raising up to Rs 6,000 crore via equity on November 12.

Indiabulls Real Estate | The company will issue secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures aggregating up to Rs 50 crore, on a private placement basis.

EID Parry | The company’s net profit in Q2FY21 rose 75 percent to Rs 317.8 crore from Rs 181.6 crore while revenue increased 2.8 percent to Rs 5,836.2 crore from Rs 5,675 crore, YoY.

Vadilal Industries | The company’s net profit in Q2FY21 plunged to Rs 0.68 crore from Rs 22.8 crore while revenue declined 16.1 percent to Rs 123.4 crore from Rs 147 crore, YoY.

HDFC: HDFC Ltd: The mortgage lender announced cutting its retail prime lending rate (RPLR) on housing loans by 10 basis points.
