Axis Capital on Telcos: The brokerage continues to prefer Bharti AIrtel and Reliance Industries. It believes there is a strong possibility of Vodafone Idea to stay as a going concern.

CLSA on Shriram Transport: The brokerage upgraded the stock to 'outperform' from 'sell' but cut its target price to Rs 750 per share from Rs 1,000 earlier. It added that challenging outlook seems priced in and valuation provides downside support.

CLSA on MGL: The brokerage reiterated 'buy' call on the stock with a target at Rs 1,425 per share. It said that the volume is currently at 40-45 percent of the pre-lockdown level and expects normalisation only by 2020 end.

CLSA on FMCG: As per the brokerage, HUL, Nestle, and Godrej Consumer are positioned well to benefit. Traditional hygiene business should show pre-capita consumption expansion, said the brokerage.

Jefferies on Industrials: Initial signs of resumption in May-June indicate strong demand for agri pipes. It has a 'buy' on Supreme Industries and Finolex Industries and 'hold' on Astra Poly.

Jefferies on Banking Governance: RBI's discussion paper seeks to strengthen corp governance. It has sought views by July 15 that will be considered in final norms. Jefferies says Kotak Bank might be affected more as Uday Kotak has completed 17 years as CEO.
