Internet and telecom-related stocks will do well in the post-COVID world, said S Naren, ED & CIO of ICICI Prudential AMC in an interview with CNBC-TV18. Not just that, we need to focus on companies with solid cash flows and good dividend payout, he added.

Speaking about the investment, he said that we would advise staggering investments in financials over the next 12-18 months. We would advise retail investors to be very stock specific, he added.

According to him, retail investors need to be careful while picking stocks in bull markets. On sectors front, Naren said that traders with a bigger appetite could look to buy metal stocks.

Incomes need to increase in the next 3 years to see a meaningful recovery in auto sales, he added.
