Manulife Cautioning Investors Regarding Ocehan's Mini-Tender Offer For Its Shares
Feb 25, 2025 2:29 PM

04:29 PM EST, 02/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Manulife (MFC.TO, MFC) after trade Tuesday said it has been notified of an unsolicited mini-tender offer made by Ocehan LLC to purchase up to 50,000 Manulife shares, or less than 0.003% of its outstanding shares, at a price of $34.20 per share.

Manulife closed up $1.03, or 2.4%, to $43.97 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Manulife cautioned shareholders that the mini-tender offer has been made at a price below the current market price for its shares. It said the offer represents a discount of approximately 19.83% and 20.07%, respectively, below the closing prices of Manulife shares on Toronto and New York bourses on Feb.3, the last trading day before the mini-tender offer was launched

"Manulife is in no way associated with Ocehan and does not recommend or endorse acceptance of this unsolicited offer," the statement added.
