The Indian market is likely to open in the green on Friday over global markets stabilizing as China is set to halve tariff rates on certain US products with effect later during the day.

However, increasing coronavirus death toll and cases could put pressure on the market.

At 7:20 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 27.50 points or 0.23 percent higher at 12,178, indicating a positive opening for the Sensex and Nifty50.
