The United States Oil Fund (USO) was 0.6% lower and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was down 1.1%.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 0.6% at $78.67 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea crude oil lost 0.6% to $82.50 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 0.8% lower at $1.91 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Kodiak Gas Services ( KGS ) was 7.7% lower in recent premarket activity after reporting it swung to a loss in Q4.
