09:06 AM EST, 03/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks fell pre-bell Thursday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) fell by 0.4% recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was 0.02% lower and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was down 1.6%.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.3% at $66.52 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.2% to $69.44 per barrel. Natural gas futures were 0.8% lower at $4.416 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Venture Global ( VG ) shares fell past 18% after the company reported a decline in Q4 revenue, while earnings missed analysts' expectations.
