09:05 AM EDT, 06/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were mixed pre-bell Wednesday with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) 0.1% lower recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was up 0.2% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 1% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.7% at $64.79 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.7% to $67.61 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 1.1% lower at $3.50 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Kolibri Global Energy ( KGEI ) shares were up more than 2% after the company said its Kolibri Energy US unit secured a 30% increase to its revolving credit facility, raising the total to $65 million. Kolibri also said it will be added to the Russell 2000 Index after the market opens on Friday.
