09:13 AM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were declining premarket Tuesday, with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) 0.4% lower.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was down 1.4% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 3.2% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 1.2% at $60.55 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 1.2% to $64.12 per barrel, and natural gas futures were down 3.3% at $3.86 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
TotalEnergies (TTE) said its consortium with Aljomaih Energy & Water has received a license from the Saudi Power Procurement Company following a tender process to develop, construct, and operate a 400-megawatt solar power plant in As Sufun, Saudi Arabia. Shares of TotalEnergies were slightly lower pre-bell.
