The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was up 0.4% and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was 1.7% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was slightly lower at $60.13 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained marginally to reach $64.41 per barrel, and natural gas futures were down 3.8% at $3.22 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
ProPetro Holding ( PUMP ) stock was nearly 23% higher after the company reported a narrower Q3 loss.
Equinor ( EQNR ) shares were down 0.3% after the company posted lower Q3 adjusted earnings that also missed analysts' expectations.
Phillips 66 (PSX) shares were down 0.4% even after the company reported higher Q3 adjusted earnings.
