09:27 AM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks fell premarket Thursday with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ) declining by 0.4% recently.
The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was down 1% and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was 1.8% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 1.6% at $60.60 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 1.5% to $63.93 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 2.5% lower at $3.29 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Dorian LPG ( LPG ) shares fell past 2% after the company reported lower fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings and revenue.
Sable Offshore ( SOC ) shares were down over 5% after the company priced an underwritten public offering of about 8.7 million common shares at $29.50 per share for expected gross proceeds of $256.5 million.
Expro Group ( XPRO ) said it received tubular running services contracts worth more than $80 million combined from two supermajor operators in the Gulf of America. Shares of Expro Group ( XPRO ) were 0.3% lower premarket.
