09:27 AM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were leaning lower pre-bell Monday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ) slightly declined recently.

The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was up 0.7% and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was 3.6% lower.

Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was 1.4% higher at $68.93 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 1.2% to $72.71 per barrel, and natural gas futures were down 5% at $3.21 per 1 million British Thermal Units.

BW LPG ( BWLP ) shares were down more than 1% after the company reported a decline in Q3 earnings.

Innovex International ( INVX ) said it has completed the acquisition of the remaining equity stake of Downhole Well Solutions. Innovex International ( INVX ) shares were 0.2% lower premarket.
