The Philadelphia Housing Index was rising 0.4%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) added 0.2%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was falling 2.4% to $95,132, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was rising 4 basis points to 4.54%.
In economic news, the Federal Reserve does "not need to be in a hurry" to adjust monetary policy as the economy remains strong, Chair Jerome Powell said Tuesday, reiterating prior remarks that the central bank was in no rush to cut interest rates.
