The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 0.5% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.3% higher.

Ambac Financial Group ( AMBC ) shares were down more than 6% after the company said it completed the $420 million cash sale of its legacy financial guarantee businesses, Ambac Assurance and Ambac Assurance UK, to funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management.
