The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was slightly higher and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was down 0.4%.

Banco Santander (SAN) stock was up more than 4% after the company posted Q4 earnings and total income that topped expectations.
