Sector Update: Financial Stocks Edge Higher Pre-Bell Tuesday

09:25 AM EDT, 08/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were edging higher pre-bell Tuesday, with The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) up 0.4%.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was 1% higher and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was down 1.4%.

EToro Group ( ETOR ) shares were up nearly 3% after the company posted higher Q2 adjusted net income and revenue.

Virtus Investment Partners ( VRTS ) stock was 1% higher after the company reported preliminary assets under management of $170.75 billion as of July 31, up from $170.71 billion at the end of June.

WisdomTree ( WT ) shares were up more than 1% after the company said it priced a $415 million private offering of convertible senior notes due 2030.
