The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was up 2.4% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 2.1% lower.

Lazard ( LAZ ) shares were up over 10% after the company reported higher Q4 adjusted earnings and net revenue.

Deutsche Bank ( DB ) shares were down more than 2% after the company reported a decline in Q4 earnings.

Blackstone (BX) shares advanced by over 1% after the company reported higher Q4 distributable earnings and revenue. The company also said its board raised its quarterly dividend.
