The Philadelphia Housing Index fell 1.2%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) shed 0.9%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) declined 2.8% to $68,816, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries jumped 15 basis points to 4.43%.
In economic news, the May employment report showed nonfarm payrolls rose by 272,000, above the 180,000 jobs increase expected in a survey compiled by Bloomberg.
In corporate news, LM Funding America ( LMFA ) shares surged 20% after the firm said it has entered into a collaboration with Arthur Mining to support the development of a new hosting site near Oklahoma City.
Bakkt ( BKKT/WS ) is mulling a potential sale amid a spike in crypto-related takeover activity, Bloomberg reported. Bakkt ( BKKT/WS ) shares were falling 2.5%.
Blue Owl (OWL) shares were up 0.4%. The company said it completed its acquisition of Prima Capital Advisors.
