The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) was little changed.

In corporate news, Sarepta Therapeutics ( SRPT ) said the US Food and Drug Administration has placed a clinical hold on its gene therapy trials for limb-girdle muscular dystrophy. Its shares fell past 4%.
