The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) decreased 0.9%.

In corporate news, Pacira Biosciences ( PCRX ) shareholder DOMA Perpetual Capital Management nominated three candidates for election to the board at the company's annual meeting in 2026 and said CEO Frank Lee should be replaced. Pacira shares rose 1.2%.
