The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) rose 0.2%.
In corporate news, Zynex ( ZYXI ) shares plunged 52%, a day after the company reported a swing to a Q4 loss as revenue fell.
Myriad Genetics ( MYGN ) shares rose 1.3% after Piper Sandler upgraded the stock to overweight from neutral and lifted its price target to $12.50 from $11.50.
Zevra Therapeutics ( ZVRA ) shares fell 2.5% after it reported a Q4 net loss late Tuesday of $0.67 per share. Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.38.
Geron ( GERN ) shares jumped past 10%. The firm said European regulators approved its drug candidate, Rytelo, to treat adults with transfusion-dependent anemia resulting from some types of lower-risk myelodysplastic syndromes.
