Abbott Laboratories ( ABT ) shares were down nearly 4% after the company reported Q3 net sales that missed analysts' estimates and cut the top end of its 2025 guidance for adjusted earnings per share.

BrightSpring Health Services ( BTSG ) will be included in the S&P SmallCap 600 index effective prior to market open on Oct. 20, the S&P Dow Jones Indices said. Shares of BrightSpring Health Services ( BTSG ) were up nearly 8% pre-bell.

Dentsply Sirona ( XRAY ) said in a filing the US Securities and Exchange Commission concluded its investigation of the company and does not intend to pursue enforcement action. Dentsply Sirona ( XRAY ) stock was up nearly 6% premarket.
