The Indian market has remained largely volatile ahead of the Reserve Bank of India board meeting later in the day. On Thursday, ministers, led by FM Arun Jaitley, attacked Urjit Patel on RBI functioning and termed the central bank's policies as "unreasonable". At 11:22 AM, the BSE Sensex was losing 67 points, to trade at 35,862 points and the NSE Nifty was losing 22 points, to trade at 10,771 points. The BSE Sensex opened 58 points lower, at 35,870 points while the NSE Nifty opened 32 points lower, at 10,759 points. Fortis Healthcare tanked 10 percent in trade after the Supreme Court put the sale of the company on hold.
