The Philadelphia Semiconductor index shed 0.2%.

In corporate news, Logitech ( LOGI ) founder Daniel Borel wants to replace Chair Wendy Becker and has proposed Guy Gecht as the replacement, Bloomberg reported, citing a letter sent by Borel to Logitech ( LOGI ). The company's shares declined 0.3%.
