01:12 PM EDT, 05/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed Monday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) fractionally higher and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) falling 1.5%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index shed 0.3%.

In corporate news, Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) agreed to sell ZT Systems' data center infrastructure manufacturing business to Sanmina (SANM) in a cash-and-stock deal that makes the US-based contract manufacturer a preferred partner of AMD for building AI solutions. AMD shares were down 1.7% and Sanmina was falling 5.3%.
