03:17 PM EST, 12/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks declined late Monday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) down 0.7% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) shedding 0.8%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index decreased 0.2%.

In corporate news, Luminar Technologies ( LAZR ) shares tumbled 62% after it said Monday it has agreed to sell its Luminar Semiconductor subsidiary to Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) for $110 million in cash. Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) shares were down 7.9%.
