09:01 AM EDT, 03/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks advanced premarket Monday as the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) was 1.7% higher and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) was up 0.4% recently.

Meta Platforms' ( META ) proposed $800 million acquisition bid for FuriosaAI has been rejected by the South Korean company, multiple media outlets reported, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter. Meta Platforms ( META ) shares rose past 2% premarket.

NTT DATA said it will expand its global partnership with Rubrik ( RBRK ) to deliver new ransomware prevention and recovery services. Rubrik ( RBRK ) shares were up over 2% pre-bell.

SEALSQ ( LAES ) has agreed to acquire a 30% equity interest in blockchain technology firm WeCanGroup, the companies said. SEALSQ ( LAES ) shares advanced by over 7% premarket.
