The UK's Competition and Markets Authority said it is launching a probe of Hewlett-Packard's ( HPE ) $14 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks ( JNPR ) . Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) was advancing by 4% premarket.

Jabil ( JBL ) declined by nearly 5% after it reported lower fiscal Q3 core earnings and net revenue.

ON Semiconductor (ON) said it plans to invest $2 billion to build a semiconductor production facility, expanding its current operations in the Czech Republic. ON Semiconductor was down more than 1% pre-bell.
