The Philadelphia Semiconductor index was little changed.
In corporate news, Salesforce ( CRM ) shares were down 1.1%. The company said it plans to invest $6 billion in its UK business through 2030 to back the transformation of UK and European companies into agentic enterprises.
Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Project Kuiper satellite internet venture plans to offer services to the US, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK by the end of Q1, Bloomberg reported late Monday. Amazon ( AMZN ) shares rose 1.6%.
Nvidia's ( NVDA ) newest AI chip for the Chinese market has met with lukewarm demand and some major tech firms have not placed orders, Reuters reported. Nvidia ( NVDA ) was down 1.5%.
