Social Buzz: Wallstreetbets Stocks Mostly Lower Premarket Friday; Nike to Advance, FedEx to Decline

06:44 AM EDT, 09/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The most-talked-about stocks in the Reddit subforum Wallstreetbets were mostly lower hours ahead of Friday's opening bell.

Nike ( NKE ) rose by 6.2% in pre-bell hours following a 0.1% increase from the previous session. Nike ( NKE ) said Elliott Hill will rejoin the company as chief executive officer, effective Oct. 14.

FedEx ( FDX ) fell by 13.5% in premarket activity, reversing a 0.7% increase at Thursday's close. FedEx ( FDX ) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings of $3.60 per diluted share, down from $4.55 a year earlier.

Trump Media & Technology Group ( DJT ) declined by 3.8% premarket, still down after a 5.9% fall from the previous session.

Intuitive Machines ( LUNR ) was 2.4% lower in pre-bell activity, swinging from a 24.2% rise at Thursday's close.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) fell by 0.7% hours before the market open, following a nearly 4% increase from the previous session.

Tesla (TSLA) was 0.7% lower pre-bell, swinging from a 7.4% rise at Thursday's close.

Apple ( AAPL ) was down 0.6% in premarket hours, retreating from a 3.7% increase at Thursday's close.

AST SpaceMobile ( ASTS ) was 0.2% lower in pre-bell activity, offsetting a portion of its 1.1% increase from the previous session.
