S&P 500 to add 3M and GE spin-offs, replacing VF and Dentsply Sirona

March 27 (Reuters) - S&P Dow Jones Indices said on

Wednesday that it would add 3M ( MMM ) spin-off Solventum Corp

and General Electric ( GE ) spin-off GE Vernova Inc to the

benchmark S&P 500 index in coming days.

Solventum, which will trade under the 'SOLV' symbol on the

New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will be added to the index on

April 1, replacing VF Corp ( VFC ), which will move to the S&P

600 smallcap index.

GE Vernova, which will trade under the 'GEV' ticker on the

NYSE, will be added to the S&P 500 on April 2, replacing

Dentsply Sirona Inc ( XRAY ), which will be moved to the S&P 400

MidCap index.

VF will replace ModivCare Inc ( MODV ) on the S&P 600, while

Dentsply Sirona ( XRAY ) will replace Fox Factory Holding ( FOXF ).

3M's ( MMM ) spin-off of Solventum is expected to be completed April

1, while GE's spin-off of GE Vernova is expected to be completed

on April 2.
