The Indian market recovered from a weak start on Wednesday amidst muted global cues. At 03.07 pm, the Sensex was trading at 39,591.58, up 156.64 points, or 0.40 percent, while Nifty 50 was trading at 11,846.60, up 50.15 points, or 0.43 percent. Stocks of Power Grid, REC, and Titan hit their 52-week highs while IIFL Finance and Eros touched their 52-week lows on the NSE today
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited's shares rose 4.09 percent on Wednesday to touch their 52-week high of Rs 209.85 per share.
REC inched 1.5 percent to hit its 52-week high of Rs 163.45 per share.
Torrent Power rose 2.7 percent to reach its 52-week high of Rs 279.05 per share on the NSE.
SBI Life Insurance's shares rose 10.3 percent to hit their 52-week high of Rs 744 per share.
Indian Hotels rose 3.4 percent to hit its 52-week high of Rs 164.30 per share on the NSE.
Voltas climbed 1.2 percent intraday to touch its 52-week high of Rs 658.85 per share.
Titan shares inched 0.3 percent to hit their 52-week high of Rs 1318.15 per share on the NSE.
Cox & King Financial Services' shares declined about 4.9 percent, trading at Rs 5.75 per share, a 52-week low for the company.
IIFL Finance's shares fell 2.9 percent to hit their 52-week low of Rs 139.80 per share.
Eros fell 4.9 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 20.05 per share.
