These NSE stocks hit their 52-week lows on August 1

SUMMARY

Indian equity benchmark indices, the BSE Sensex and the NSE Nifty50, extended losses around noon on Thursday over concerns of weak core industrial growth data and sustained foreign fund outflows. At 3.19 pm the BSE Sensex was down 409.97 points, or 1.09 percent, at 37,071.15, and the Nifty 50 was trading 84.25 points, or 1.05 percent, lower at 11,001.15. Here are some stocks that hit their 52-week lows on the NSE on August 1:

Ashok Leyland fell 3.8 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 67.15 per share on the NSE after the company reported a 44 percent dip in consolidated profit at Rs 247 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal.

Tata Motors fell 5.9 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 127.55 per share on Thursday.

Shares of Vedanta declined 6.5 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 144 per share on the NSE.

Hindalco fell 5.3 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 180.30 per share on the NSE.

Shares of Biocon declined 2.3 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 221.25 per share.

Escorts fell 4.0 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 451.10 per share after the company said its domestic tractor sales in July 2019 was down to 4,505 tractors against 5,483 tractors in July 2018.

Mahindra & Mahindra fell 1.9 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 539.30 per share after the company said it sold 16,831 vehicles in July 2019, compared to 19,781 vehicles in July 2018.

Shares of Fortis Healthcare declined 1.6 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 118 per share.

Sadbhav Engineering fell 18.5 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 114.50 per share on the NSE.

Shares of Delta Corp fell 8 percent to hit its 52-week low of Rs 140.60 per share on the NSE.
