02:25 PM EDT, 07/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Edwards Lifesciences ( EW ) shares tumbled after some analysts downgraded the stock following the company's Q2 results and guidance.

TD Cowen and Nephron Research downgraded their ratings on the stock to hold while other analysts, including at UBS, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Bernstein, and Deutsche Bank, cut their price targets.

Shares sank 29% as intraday trading volume catapulted to more than 31.9 million versus a daily average of about 2.8 million.

MaxLinear ( MXL ) shares dropped 31% amid heavy trading intraday after the company reported weaker Q2 financial results overnight.

While Susquehanna and Benchmark cut their respective price targets for the company, Needham downgraded the stock to hold from buy.

More than 4.3 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 712,000.

Cheetah Net Supply Chain Service ( CTNT ) said Thursday that it signed an agreement for a follow-on offering of about 6.48 million shares at $0.23 apiece, targeting roughly $1.49 million of gross proceeds.

Shares slumped 33.7% as intraday trading volume jumped to over 10.8 million from a daily average of roughly 6.4 million.
