02:16 PM EDT, 07/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lantheus ( LNTH ) shares surged past 37% after Medicare issued proposals to update the reimbursement rate for diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals.

More than 5.5 million Lantheus ( LNTH ) shares have already been traded on Wednesday, or almost seven times its average daily volume of around 816,500 shares.

Brighthouse Financial ( BHF ) was adding 5.6% following an upgrade to buy from hold at Jefferies, which also increased its price target for the insurance and annuity products company to $54 from $49 a share previously.

Trading volume was nearly 411,000 shares, versus a daily average volume of over 475,400 shares.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) shares rose 3.2% on Wednesday trading after the chipmaker reported a 33% year-over-year increase in revenue during June, climbing to 207.87 billion New Taiwanese dollars ($6.37 billion).

Nearly 14.2 million Taiwan Semiconductor shares had changed hands with slightly less than two hours remaining in Wednesday's session, compared with more than 14.6 million daily average shares.
