Dell leads chart: Here are the top 10 most trusted brands in India

Dell has emerged as the most trusted brand in India in 2019, according to a report released by brand analytics firm TRA Research. Also, e-commerce major Amazon is the most trusted among the Internet brands in India, followed by Google and Facebook, according to a recent report by TRA Research. Here is the list of top 10 most trusted brands in India.

Dell-Dell has emerged as India’s most trusted brand in 2019, according to a research by Trust Research Advisory (TRA), a research firm that releases a Brand Trust Report annually.

Jeep-Automobile brand Jeep has emerged the second most trusted brand, up a whopping 551 ranks from last year.

LIC- Jeep was followed by LIC, up from 24th rank last year to become the 3rd most trusted brand.

Amazon- Amazon (up from 53), which is now India’s most trusted internet brand followed by Google has grabbed the 4th position as the most trusted brand in India.

iPhone- Among smartphone brands, iPhone is ranked as 5th most trusted brand.

Samsung-Samsung is ranked as the 6th most trusted brand. While Samsung is the second highest selling smartphone brand in India, its Brand Trust Index was 14% less than iPhones this year.

LG- LG is ranked as the 7th most trusted brand, according to a recent report by TRA Research.

Aviva Life Insurance-Aviva Life Insurance leapfrogged 451 positions this year to bag 8th most trusted brand.

Maruti Suzuki India- India’s first four-wheeler manufacturing company, Maruti Suzuki is ranked as 9th most trusted brand.

State Bank of India- State Bank of India, with its 200-year legacy is this year’s most trusted bank and the 10th most trusted brand.

2020 has been a brutal year for businesses, so much so that the volume of bankruptcies this year has surpassed that of 2008. As per S&P Global Market Intelligence, 610 firms have filed for bankruptcies as of December 13, the highest since 2012. Retailers like J.C. Penney, Neiman Marcus, and J.Crew, car rental giant Hertz, mall operator CBL & Associates Properties are some of the names that have been listed in Fortune’s list of ‘14 of the biggest bankruptcies of 2020'.
