09:36 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sandisk ( SNDK ) and Kioxia Corp. said Wednesday they unveiled a new 9th-generation, high-performance 2Tb QLC 3D flash memory technology designed to support the growing storage demands of AI infrastructure.
The technology was designed to deliver performance improvements and allow faster deployment of storage products for cloud and data-intensive applications, the companies said.
It has a NAND interface speed of 4.8Gb/s, a 33% improvement over the companies' previous 8th-generation 2Tb QLC devices.
Sandisk ( SNDK ) shares were up past 6% in premarket activity.
